While it is often the same message, it is worth repeating.
“Behind the wheel, everything can change in the blink of an eye. A post, a selfie, a text, a scroll, an email—one look is all it takes.” – AT&T
Everyone knows texting and driving is dangerous, but other smartphone activity behind the wheel is just as common, and just as dangerous. Capturing video, taking photographs, using social media, and even using video chat are all being done while in control of a vehicle. In fact, according to new research from AT&T, 7-in-10 people engage in smartphone activities while driving with Facebook topping the list.
Pledge to keep your eyes on the road, not on your phone. It is time for all of us to focus on safe, distraction-free driving.
