As the school year draws to a close, for millions of children the last bell of the year may bring more than summer fun. Many kids will go hungry because they will not have access to school breakfast and lunch programs.

In its continued efforts to help those in need and give back to our communities, Lawsuit Financial aims to help fill this void and feed local children in need. Throughout the summer, we will be collecting canned food in our office at 31864 Northern Western Highway, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. All of the donations will be delivered to Forgotten Harvest, a nonprofit that distributes food to the homeless and hungry in metro Detroit.

Help us ensure that no child goes hungry this summer. Together, we can make a difference!

About Forgotten Harvest

Forgotten Harvest is celebrating 25 years of relieving hunger and preventing food waste. The organization “rescued” over 48 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 locations, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department -approved sources. The donated food is delivered free-of-charge to 280 emergency food providers in the metro Detroit area.
